Industrial grade materials for global engineering demands.
Type 310S (UNS S31008) is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel known for its exceptional oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 2010°F (1100°C). As a leading OEM manufacturer, we recognize that the "S" variant, containing lower carbon than the standard 310, is specifically engineered to minimize carbide precipitation during welding or high-temperature service. This "Information Gain" is critical for procurement officers: choosing 310s over 310 is not just a preference; it’s a structural necessity for components undergoing cyclic heating.
The high chromium and nickel content (typically 24-26% Cr and 19-22% Ni) provides superior corrosion resistance compared to 304 or 316 grades. Our manufacturing process ensures that the round steel bars maintain a stable austenitic structure, providing toughness and low magnetic permeability even at cryogenic temperatures. This dual capability—resisting extreme heat while maintaining structural integrity in cold environments—makes our 310s round steel a versatile "Macro-Industry Solution" for global energy and chemical sectors.
Defining the next decade of metallurgical excellence.
Our R&D department is currently exploring the integration of rare earth elements (Yttrium and Cerium) into the 310s matrix. This "Technical Roadmap" aims to enhance the adherence of the protective oxide scale, further extending the lifecycle of round bars in sulfur-bearing atmospheres.
As the world pivots to the hydrogen economy, we are certifying our 310s round steel for hydrogen embrittlement resistance. The future of 310s lies in its application within high-pressure electrolysis systems and hydrogen combustion turbines.
Looking toward 2030, we are developing near-net-shape manufacturing for 310s components. This reduces material waste by up to 30%, aligning with global sustainability goals and lowering the "Total Cost of Ownership" (TCO) for our OEM partners.
Cross-sector applications where performance is non-negotiable.
Used in thermal recovery systems, flare tips, and tube hangers. Our 310s bars withstand the aggressive hot-gas corrosion found in crude oil distillation units.
Essential for conveyor belts, rollers, and radiant tubes. Our bars provide the high-temperature creep strength necessary for continuous industrial kilns.
Applied in jet engine components and heat exchangers where thermal fatigue resistance is paramount for flight safety and operational longevity.
Critical for concentrated solar power (CSP) receivers and biomass gasification plants, where temperature fluctuations are extreme and frequent.
Digital intelligence meeting traditional craftsmanship.
Our Smart Manufacturing Hub in Shandong utilizes "Digital Twin" technology to monitor the rolling process of every 310s round bar. This ensures a grain size uniformity that traditional factories cannot match. By integrating AI-driven predictive maintenance, we guarantee a 99.8% on-time delivery rate, providing unparalleled "Supply Chain Resilience."
Located in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, we are a large-scale steel enterprise specializing in R&D, processing, and technical services. Our portfolio includes stainless steel plates, coils, pipes, and round bars (310s, 304, 316L, 321), as well as copper, aluminum, and titanium alloys. We adopt a scientific management model, serving aerospace, military, petrochemical, and precision machining industries globally.
We understand that "Global Sourcing" requires strict "Compliance Safeguards." All our 310s round steel products are accompanied by 3.1 Mill Test Certificates (MTC) and comply with:
We offer localized logistics support through partners in Rotterdam, Dubai, and Houston to ensure your project timelines are met.
How global enterprises optimize their procurement cycles.
From 5mm precision rods to 500mm forged bars, we provide tailor-made dimensions that reduce secondary machining costs by up to 15%.
With our diversified raw material sourcing, we buffer against nickel price volatility, offering fixed-price contracts for long-term partners.
Choose from Bright, Polished, or Centerless Ground finishes. Surface integrity is the first line of defense against high-temp oxidation.
The "S" stands for "Small" carbon (under 0.08%). This lower carbon content makes 310S less susceptible to embrittlement and sensitization in service, providing better weldability and corrosion resistance after thermal cycles.
While 310s is excellent in oxidizing environments, it can be sensitive to sulfur-bearing reducing atmospheres. In such cases, we recommend a pre-oxidation treatment or considering specific high-nickel alloys like Inconel, which we also manufacture.
We use precision horizontal straightening machines and dual-axis laser measurement systems during the finishing stage to ensure tolerances meet or exceed ASTM A484 standards.
For standard stock sizes, we ship within 7 days. For custom alloying or specific diameter forging, our standard lead time is 21-30 days, supported by our agile Factory 4.0 infrastructure.
