In the realm of metallurgy, 304 Stainless Steel (UNS S30400) remains the gold standard for versatile application. As a premier OEM 304 Stainless Sheet Manufacturer, we recognize that the demand for this austenitic alloy has shifted from basic structural use to high-precision, tech-integrated components. Containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel, our sheets offer unparalleled corrosion resistance and aesthetic durability.
This white paper explores the critical nexus between material science and supply chain efficiency, providing "Information Gain" for procurement officers and industrial engineers seeking to optimize their metal sourcing strategy in a volatile global market.
304 stainless sheet is not a "one size fits all" product. Localization requires understanding regional regulatory standards and environmental stressors.
In coastal cities like Dubai or Shanghai, our PVD-coated 304 sheets provide the "Anti-Fingerprint" and salt-spray resistance needed for high-rise aesthetics.
Compliance with FDA and EU health standards makes our cold-rolled 304 sheets essential for surgical trays and clean-room equipment, where biocompatibility is non-negotiable.
The transition to EVs has increased demand for lightweight, high-tensile 304 battery casings. Our OEM capabilities allow for custom stamping and deep-drawing processes.
The stainless steel industry is undergoing a digital transformation. We are moving beyond basic smelting into Industry 4.0 integrated manufacturing.
Current market dynamics show a pivot toward localized supply chain resilience. While China remains the production powerhouse, the "China + 1" strategy is driving us to provide more robust localized support, including logistics hubs in Southeast Asia and Europe to mitigate shipping delays.
Located in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, China, we are a large steel supplier specializing in research and development, processing, sales, and technical services. Our business covers steel pipes, steel plates, round bars, steel coils, angle bars, flat bars, I-beams, stainless steel plates, and more.
Baimaoxing adopts a scientific management model. Our products are widely used in industries such as aerospace, military equipment, petrochemicals, automotive parts, shipbuilding, and precision machining.

Our Liaocheng facility leverages the world’s most concentrated steel ecosystem. This cluster effect reduces raw material transport costs and provides us with immediate access to specialized alloy additives. Our resilience is built on a dual-source power grid and a 24/7 automated logistics interface with Qingdao Port, ensuring that global shipping disruptions are minimized.
We don't just ship metal; we ship assurance. Every batch of 304 Stainless Sheet comes with a Mill Test Certificate (MTC). We provide localized technical support for welding (TIG/MIG) and forming techniques, ensuring our products integrate seamlessly with your local production lines. Compliance with ASTM A240 and ASME SA240 is our baseline.
304L is the extra-low carbon version of 304. The "L" stands for "Low Carbon" (max 0.03% vs 0.08%). This is critical for welding applications where it prevents sensitization (chromium carbide precipitation) and ensures better corrosion resistance in the "as-welded" state.
While 304 has excellent corrosion resistance, it is susceptible to pitting in high-chloride marine environments. For direct contact with seawater, we recommend Grade 316. However, for "coastal" architectural use, a 304 sheet with a high-polish finish (Mirror or BA) can often suffice if maintained correctly.
We provide 2B (cold rolled, annealed), No.4 (brushed), BA (Bright Annealed), Mirror (8K), and various embossed or PVD color patterns. Each finish serves a specific intent—from industrial hygiene to high-end interior design.
Using Sendzimir mills (Z-mills), we achieve high-precision thickness control within ±0.01mm. This is vital for clients in the precision stamping and electronics industries where slight variations can lead to assembly failures.
